I stay two nights here and it was wonderful! Great rooms and awesome customer service. They even helped me bring my bags to my room. It was really clean and quiet. I will definitely be spending more nights here in the near future.
Based on the wonderful workers and simplicity, I'd give it a 4. After facing domestic abuse in my home, I was respectfully treated by two nice women and they showed concern and care, even a tissue
I stay at Motel 6 frequently. Generally, I am satisfied. However, This room was a loser. The door lock was hard to use. Could not close door without room key to retract dead bolt. The toilet would not flush solid waste. After clogging, I called the front desk and they brought me a plunger to use. I told them the toilet still did not flush properly, but to no avail. Sure enough, the next morning it clogged again. I then checked out. Good news: The bed was comfortable. The TV worked. The shower worked. The heater worked.
Smoke alarm was triggered by warm moist air from shower would not shut off until I disconnected the battery. Third shift staff was not available or concerned. I tried calling on the phone and let it ring for over 20 minutes. Had to go down to the office and was told by the security guard sitting around in the back room that he had no clue where the attendant was. Finally the desk attendant appeared and told me he was busy with another customer and continues to put pillows in pillow cases while I asked for a new room that had a properly functioning smoke alarm. Sent me to a new room which smelled of residual smoke from a previous customer. Again I had to back down to the office and challenge the attendant foe another room. He had a very carefree attitude and actually asked the rent a cop if he should find me another room. The Security guard nodded yes and finally I received a proper room.
M-6 Brookfield has been a weekend home to me for quite sometime now. I have had issues in the past but with rare exception now. Recently the entire staff has been been very attentive and the property has been given a facelift of sorts and there is more work to be done. They are using new cleaning products and techniques and for an older building it is really well maintained.
