They seem to generally carry quality products and have knowledgeable staff. Only 3 stars due to my extreme dissapointment with their bicycle repair shop.
In no way could I have been more dissapointed with the service for my bike. If you have a bike you care about, take it to a dedicated bike shop. Chances are you'll do much better than I did.
Stopped in today to look at Kayaks. There were 5 employees in the busy store - 3 cashiers tending to a long line of people checking out, one guy in the back fixing bikes, and one lonely sales person on the floor, deep in discussions with another customer about backpacks. I was in the store 20 minutes without any possibility of help. Went down the street and got great attention at another outfitter.
Lesson learned.
The workers here are very friendly and knowledgeable! My boyfriend and I want to go backpacking, but have no idea where to start. One of the guys on the floor had a depth of knowledge and experience, and could answer all our questions. Highly recommend!
Went in the other day and was ignored by 4 staff members. This was the first time I'd ever not been greeted quickly. Super disappointed. Went in today and was greeted and helped until all my questions were answered. Glad the poor service was just a fluke!
Amazing Experience here, if you are Into outdoor activities and are liking for high quality products along with stellar customer service, then you should definitely go here. Their membership service is a one time $20 fee but with it comes lots of perks including 1 year return no questions asked.
I brought an old Bontrager Race to them for their top of the line tune up. Got it back with the brakes toed improperly, deraileur adjusted incorrectly, cable ends sticking out inches too far all over. In addition, neither of the two most pressing issues were addressed. Finally, they advertise the tune up as a tear down, clean and lube. I replaced my pedals within 2 weeks of getting the bike back and found no sign of lubrication on my old pedals.
