Had called Brookfield store to find a black Arturia Keystep keyboard controller.
Guitar Center is usually the walmart of music gear. Kids put their hands all over the guitar you want to buy. This guitar center is better than the ones i have frequented (PHX, AZ)......good selection for guitars. Best part IMO is the electric drums setup ready to try. Staff is decent...guy with the beard in guitars is helpful and knowledgable. Also younger guy with dark hair and ear plugs is cool and helpful. Adam with glasses is cool and good at his job....There is, however, a short, ugly and bald guy named kyle (i think) he is kind of a b!tch. He has a case of short man syndrome. GC employees have a history of being douchey (google it)....and kyle is a great example. You can tell he was probably made fun of a bunch in high school so now he acts like a bald little biatch..I love the location and black rickenbackers. Cheers!
Very disappointing customer service. Went in to have my guitar looked and the guy was nothing but extremely rude and not helpful AT ALL. Never seen a store that had workers so rude to customers before, obviously bad management. Don’t waste your time it’s over priced and they low ball offers.
Paid and left.
It was in plastic and had the plastic holders on the keyboard to hold it in place.
He assured me that they had one left.
The sales people I encountered weren't too pushy, asking for help seemed ok. Its a nice place to play guitars and learn more about your hobby. As a bassist, the Rumble Room is my favorite musical place on earth!

Picked it up from the Brookfield store and opened the cover of the box just to see it.
I am no novice to synths and controllers. I have many units ranging from vintage analog gear to today's digital and hybrids along the way.
Got home, unpackaged it. Bag was crushed on end, usually these are taped closed. No disc with Ableton lite on it and no card that Arturia does put in with the unit to get you started. Both of which states right on the box they are included. Can you say open box and probably floor model!?
Talking with the staff here is always a pleasure. They're always willing to help you out and don't make you feel out of place if you don't really know what your looking for. The prices are a little high but the satisfaction of knowing you can get knowledgeable answers to your questions makes up for it. Highly recommend this store.
Spoke to rep at the store and "did" ask him if GC had one brand new and in the box.
Full Compass out of Madison never gave me a hassle. Will stick with them.
This in no way is a brand new unit. Very disgusted with GC. Won' t purchase anything from them again.
