Loved the produce. Nice bulk selection! Puts other natural food stores to shame. They also have essentials like laundry soap, health and beauty aids, etc. I was very impressed. I was greeted warmly and the man explained how their ads work (overlapping ads on Wednesday, so double sales). Clerks were helpful. Cashiers were awesome. Can't wait for the one to open by my house next week!
Coming from California, where Sprouts was my go to stop for produce and meat, this is like a taste of home. The same in many ways, better in some, worse only in location. Wish it was closer to home, I'd happily shop here weekly if it were more convenient. Can't miss stopping on a Wednesday, double sale day. Give it a shot.
The one glaring problem, at the Brookfield store at least, is they are out of stock of the major sale items frequently. The area with the most problems is keeping their meat specials stocked. Management seems indifferent and does not respond to messages left on their website. Great produce, pretty good meats. Very good prices. Just very hard to do your one-stop shopping for the week. Not good for busy people.
Have been to the Brookfield location 4 times and feel like I have given them enough chances. Twice went for sale items that they were out of. The last time was over charged, they were offering a 20% off frozen seafood and the receipt did not reflect the discount. When I questioned the cashier since there is no customer service, she had to look in the weekly ad and after quite some time for her to come up with the refund amount she still only gave us back 10%. At this time people were waiting in line and it just wasn't worth it nor was she very helpful. So we're done with Fresh Thyme.
I work very closely to this newly opened fresh thyme and was very excited to have a healthy / delicious food option close by. I tried ordering from their sandwich deli 4-5 times and each time had a miserable experience. Consistently the workers are under staffed and overwhelmed. It has never taken less than 15 minutes to get a sandwich made. On multiple occasions I have placed an order and waited 15 minutes until I asked how much longer I should expect to wait only to learn they don’t have the ingredients to complete my order. Today I ordered meatball and Cuban..they decided to start un freezing my meatballs upon order without telling me expecting me to wait 30 minutes for it to be ready. I reminded them I was also waiting on a Cuban but was told since thanksgiving was a few days away they were out of pork and couldn’t make my Cuban either.
If fresh thyme figured out some basic customer service issues and properly staffed their deli counter I might try ordering sandwiches from them again . Until then I will continue shoving my face with all you can eat Chinese buffet at emperors kitchen down the street.
